Orange Smoothie

I developed this recipe as part of a school snack program to highlight orange fruits and vegetables. It features peaches, mango, and carrot juice. I found the smell and taste of the carrot juice overpowering and not entirely pleasant. Fragrant passion fruit juice masked the carrots completely.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peaches, sliced, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup mango, cubed, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup passion fruit juice, no sugar added
  • 1/8 cup carrot juice, no sugar added

Instructions

  • Put everything in your blender & blend until smooth. To make blending easier, you can thaw frozen ingredients before blending. You may need to add more water to adjust the consistency.
